DIGICOM Film Festival 2018

“Rise and Shine”

Come Join us on Thursday May 17, 2018 to celebrate students creative work!

Our annual film festival showcases some of the best work across the Palm Springs Unified School District from K-12 students. Each year the films show the amazing creativity of students and teachers as they use digital storytelling in their curriculum.

The festival will be held on May 17, 2018 in the Richards Center for the Arts at 6:30PM. The event is around two hours long and will be a night to remember.

I really think DIGICOM has helped kids tell their sad, funny, exciting and boring stories through a very creative and diverse way. In a way, people relating to these short films just proves that no one is alone. Antony Trujillo

Graduate, Desert Hot Springs High School

When I learned about DIGICOM, I was excited to be able to show who I was as a person and how I felt about life, and in a beautiful way, I brought my thoughts and feelings to life. Alexis Jones

Student, Desert Hot Springs High School

Before I worked at DIGICOM, I was a student submitting films to the film festival. This was fun, but it wasn’t until I held an award looking out to over one thousand community members that I finally felt like I was important. Timothy Lentz

Head of Technology, DIGICOM
